The Education Endowment Foundation is also known as EEF. It is an organization of charity distribution among poor background students based in the United Kingdom. This organization was established in 2011 by the lead charity the Sutton Trust.

It aims to improve educational outcomes for children and young people, particularly those who belong to poor backgrounds.EEF was established to improve the educational attainment of the poorest pupils who study in English schools.

In 2015, EEF launched the EEF Families of Schools database. This is an interactive tool that puts schools into families of 50 based on factors including prior attainment, percentage of pupils eligible for free school meals, and the number of children with English as an additional language.
